This book can't be much more than a class project written by a high-school student. It has virtually no punctuation other than periods to separate sentences. The text is sometimes left-aligned and sometimes justified (ie, left and right aligned). The typesetting is awful. Fonts are mixed up. It's a joke.As far as the content goes: it's incoherent, badly written, and frequently incomprehensible. It seems to be a stream of consciousness put to paper. And poorly done at that.
The last page of the book states that the book was printed "May 09, 2011" which is the same day I ordered it. I suspect Mr or Ms Jones printed it out him/herself when I ordered it. No publisher ever took a look at it---and no publisher would ever consider publishing it.
This is one hell of an awful book.

I love the easy to understand language in this book and how it made some complex ideas so simple to get. Tells you all you need to know when you are ready to own your first home. Excellent book!

I actually had a lot of trouble trying to figure out how to go about buying a house. From what I understand even people who have done it before get confused about the process, but in my case I was going in completely blind. I liked how the book made sure to hit each question that I usually found myself wondering about and in that way I'm a lot more prepared than I was before I read this. There was even a section where the pros and cons of fixer uppers, foreclosures, and new homes were. It provided some insights that I've never considered before. So all in all, a pretty useful read.
