I loved this book - it is practical and informative and really funny. I would recommend this to anyone who is getting started or is successfully breastfeeding (there are tricks in there for even the seasoned pro!).
This book was exactly what I needed with a new baby. She made the stories funny and easy to understand. Great for a quick reference as well with good advice. Must have )
What a wonderful book. I LOVED it! I read a few others and this one was by far the most useful, enjoyable and fun! I could not put it down (which usually only happens to me when I read a nicely written novel, not a baby book ))
It was an easy read and very informative at the same time. I came out as a more informed new mom and more confident that I could breast feed and deal with the challenges.
I am little surprised by all the other reviews as they all sounded like they were written by the same person.
It is a good enough book it has fun parts as well as some good information. But I couldn't call it the best baby book I have ever read.
I liked the author's friendly language, yet at times the information was little too anecdotal for me. It may be suitable for those who are still toying with the idea bottle or breast.
This is an excellent primer for new parents, not just breastfeeding mothers. A quick and succinct guide with heavy doses of humor and common sense, as the title says. - A great gift.
